The City of Tulsa and the Community Service Council present this six-month long set of community engagement sessions, newsletters and blog posts developed to encourage in-depth community conversations around the themes and indicators, share current efforts to address disparities in Tulsa, and equip Tulsa residents to use the report as an advocacy tool. All Learning Series: Data for Action events are free to attend and open to the public, however registration is required.
Please note: Dr. Bruce Dart with the Tulsa Health Department was originally scheduled to co-present with Reggie Ivey to discuss public health indicators, but he is now unable to join us.
ABOUT THE SERIES
The Equality Indicators Report Learning Series: Data for Action launches on December 8 with a general overview of the results of the 2020 Annual Report. Starting in January 2021, we will focus on a theme each month: January - Economic Opportunity, February - Education, March - Housing, April - Justice, May - Public Health, June - Services. For each theme we will host a community engagement session where we will present the results of the Equality Indicator Report theme and have panel discussion based on community questions and feedback.
