Introducing the 211 Eastern Oklahoma Partner Newsletter!

In 2021 alone, 211 Eastern Oklahoma provided more than 280,000 referrals to local social service agencies. And now we want to do even more to deliver best-in-class service not only to Oklahomans in need, but to our partner community. This bi-monthly newsletter will serve as a portal to understanding our community's current top needs, highest needs areas, new resources and related announcements based on the latest 211 Eastern Oklahoma referral data and information. DID YOU KNOW?

We keep our referral database updated at 95% or higher. This ensures the referrals we give to our callers are accurate and trust-worthy. If you have had a recent change to your services, please let us know and we'll update your listing.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

National Accreditation Awarded

We are excited to announce we have once again received a five-year AIRS (Alliance of Information and Referral Systems) accreditation. Becoming AIRS accredited is an extensive, rigorous process as AIRS is the only credential geared for programs in the specialized field of Information and Referral. 

All New Partner Portal!

Last month we launched this one-stop shop for our 1,100+ partner agencies to provide resource updates and quick links to our tools and forms.

This year on national 2-1-1 day, we celebrated the partnerships that are so critical to our mission. Check out the event recording!

All New Partner Referral Reports

This new report provides a personalized overview of our referral data specific to your organization by volume, service type, year over year comparison, geography, and client demographics. 

Enhanced Community Dashboard

New features include greater ease of use, expanded data views (including community needs year over year), expanded county and date filters, and expanded call volume history.

In each issue we will display the top five reasons Oklahomans are currently calling 211 Eastern Oklahoma. Below reflects top needs in January and February 2022.

We will also display the regions from which we received the highest volume of calls. Below shows January and February 2022—all were within Tulsa County.

 
 

Total Incoming Requests for Help

Here we will show the total calls, texts and live chats to 211 Eastern Oklahoma for the past couple months year-over-year, including our callers who opted to listen to recorded messages for critical information. New Connections

Here we will highlight the newest community organizations and service providers to join our partner database over the past two months. These agencies joined us in January and February 2022. 

• Transpire Oklahoma: A non-profit providing services for transgender Oklahomans and other members of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
• NewLife360: A re-entry program for criminal justice involved individuals as well as services for youth.
• Sandusky Avenue Christian Church: Offers a food pantry to the Tulsa community.
• Tulsa Responds: A non-profit providing services such as application assistance for health insurance, SBA loans/grants, and tax filing.
• Oklahoma Alliance for Animals: A non-profit providing services to support pet owners and advocate for animal rights.

Up for Renewal

The following agencies will be up for renewal in March and April 2022. Be on the lookout for an email from 211 Eastern Oklahoma so that we can ensure our database reflects your most current services and availability.
